Kate joined the Glasgow construction disputes team as a Solicitor in August 2025. Before joining the firm, Kate obtained her degree from the University of Glasgow and completed her traineeship at an independent Scottish commercial firm. During her traineeship, Kate spent one year in the contentious construction team and a year advising on property and professional negligence claims, before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2023.
Kate has a great deal of experience advising contractors and employers in relation to high-value disputes regarding delay, defective design and workmanship, and non-payment. She has assisted clients with resolving such disputes at adjudication and in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
